Learning Objectives


  • Define Construction Documents including soils reports, drawings, specifications, etc.
  • Discuss the U.S. National CAD Standard and how it affects CAD and BIM.
  • List minimum requirements for construction documents.
  • Identify the importance of agreements, clarifications, change orders, photographs, videos, special inspections, test reports, and other construction documents.

Description


Good design must be communicated well for any construction project to succeed. Multiple trades must be able to coordinate the myriad of details that result in final alignments of structures, plumbing, electrical, finishes, and other details. This short program shows what the construction industry expects from watershapers and how these documents result in reduced errors, change orders, liability, and expense.concept.
